The cave is situated on Great Tor and is reached by following the track from Penmaen Burrows as far as the top between two rocky nobs on Great Tor. A descent of about 10 metres down the Eastern side leads to the entrance.
Description
The main entrance leads to a chamber 33 metres long, 6 metres high and 2.5 metres wide. At the end there is a small arch which leads to another chamber and a 10 metre passage. In the main chamber, there is a passage which leads to a small chamber from which a 10 metre chimney leads to the cave's second entrance.
