Access Take the road off Gwaen Bryn-Bwch on the Pont-Nedd-Fechan to Ystradfellte road, and proceed to Bridge Cave. Cross the bridge, follow the track to Sarn Helen (Roman Road), through the two gates. A new private forestry site now exists to the west of this gate. Access may be made at that point or at the stile on the north boundary of the site where the footpath leaves it. The 'pot' lies 15 m SE of the large irregular sheep-fold which lies just outside the forestry site.
Description The entrance lies at the foot of a very legendary valley which runs from SW to NE ending in a cliff. The rim is at 358m alt, it is 13 m high and the valley in about 10 m deep and 45 m wide. The entrance is 2 m wide and 0.75m high. It takes much water in wet weather and sinks occur further up the valley floor. It is currently being dug by W S G.
