Access Take the road off Gwaen Bryn-Bwch on the Pont-Nedd-Fechan to Ystradfellte road, and proceed to Bridge Cave. Cross the bridge, follow the track to Sarn Helen (Roman Road), through the two gates. About 50 metres after going through the second gate, there is a large shakehole on the West side of the road.
Description The shakehole lies at 342 metres altitude, is about 40 metres in diameter and 15 metres deep. In wet weather, it takes a lot of surface water which sinks in the South corner. Looks a promising dig.
