Access
Take the track to Hendre Bolon farm and in 100m, go over the stile into the forest. Follow the fence for 370m to the boundary junction, then aim South 390m past the large shake-hole with Ogof Ffynnon to a cross road of track and firebreak at SN 9355 1201. Go West along the track for 210m looking out for a grass covered low wall and ditch (sometimes taking a stream) on the right. This leads directly SW in 100m to a large sink hole containing a large pool in the Southern half of it.
Description
It is a very large twin shakehole containing a big pool, taking a stream from the SE corner, and a swallet in the North half also taking a stream along the ditch, which together with the overflow from the pool sinks into the Northern half of the shakehole. It is in the line of the other shakeholes containing caves to the NW.
