Cave
Access Take the Penderyn to Ystradfellte road to Ty-Mawr farm. Contact the Farmer there, who also farms Tir-duweunydd farm Take the path at the left hand corner at the bottom of the hill, along the meadow, past the farm and old quarry, taking the East wall past the quarry to a gateway. The cave is in a collapse about 25 metres past the gateway to the NE.
Description The cave is in the north side of the collapse, under a millstone grit roof. There is an 8m pitch in very loose, fluted, cherty, rock to the right of the entrance chamber.
History
Hydrology The farmer states that digging in the cave does not affect the well 90 metres to the SSE. Tests
