Rising
Access The land is owned by Hepste Fawr Farm. Take the turning off the Brecon to Penderyn road to Tir yr Onen farm and ask for permission to park there. Cross the river by the ford or stepping stones and proceed down the right bank for about 275m beyond the ruins of Blaen Hepste Farm, to a point 23m beyond the scarp that reaches the bank at Blaen Hepste Hole.
Description There are several issues below the bank at right angles to the bank and at river level between 23m and 25m beyond Blaen Hepste Hole. There are two collapses in the field behind, about 9m from the river and there is a dry valley beyond that with several collapses. This could be the resurgence for Blaen Hepste Hole. The resurgence is only accessible to divers and consists of a series of rifts, drops, airbells and descents.
