Access The land is owned by Hepste Fawr Farm (was Mr Harris, 1981) and permission should be sought there. Take the turning off the Brecon to Penderyn road to Tir yr Onen farm and ask for permission to park there. Cross the river by the ford or stepping stones and proceed up the West bank for about 50m. The sink is immediately under the West Bank. Do not dig there as it affects the water supply for the farm animals.
Description The sink takes nearly all the river in dry weather, with a smaller sink 12m downstream. It sinks in pebbles and drift. It most likely resurges with other water from Ogof Blaen Hepste, 150m further downstream whence the river continues its course.
