Access On hillside just north of Cwmavon Reservoir
Description Large resurgence issuing from a locked tunnel 15m long. At the far end of the tunnel, water comes from loose boulders, some with phreatic shelving. A second tunnel immediately adjacent is 8m long and generally dry. The tunnels are the property of the Gwent Water Board.
History
Hydrology Strong dye trace from Cuckoo Pot in less than 24 hours. Minimum flow 0.134 cumecs (3000g.p.h). Tests
