Access 200m downstream of Cwmbran Bridge, the pool used for brewing is on land owned by the Plastics Factory, other rising are only accessible via its land.
Description
History Westlakes Brewery was built to use this water in 1900 (brewing ceased, 1928)
Hydrology Weak dye trace from Cuckoo Pot in less than 24 hours. Minimum flow 0.089 cumecs (2000g.p.h). Bicarbonate hardness (ppm) 131 (spring) - 96 (autumn) Tests
