Sink Cave
Access Free access. The cave is in a doline on common land above Nant Maelor, Abersychan.
Description The cave is dug out in the south corner of a large doline which takes two small streams. A tight vertical entrance leads to a large collapse chamber. 14m long and 9m wide. The stream sinks at the far end in sand and gravel. The entrance has now collapsed again.
