The old ropes at Dali's Delight have now been removed and replaced
with new ones.
A new caver entrance is now operational for when the showcave is closed, this
will avoid having to use the river entrance where recently a caving group
were nearly hit from large falling rocks.
Cymystwyth Mines - June 2004
Information text: : Collapse in Cwmystwyth Level Fawr There has been a significant
collapse on the main route of Level Fawr. This has blocked the left hand turn
(off the entrance adit) towards the skip rails. There is still an opening
to the truck and the obvious alternative route to the skip rails but anybody
would be foolhardy to attempt it before any stabilisation has been carried
out. The only safe route to the skip rails is to climb up and then descend
the long ladder.
